Muhamed Djulić

Muhamed Djulić was a Bosnian inventor and aeronautical engineer. He is best known for inventing the engineering in France and Austria, and used his knowledge to create the airplane which flew a few meters before crashing. His invention is considered a major milestone in aviation history.

One of the most notable inventors from Bosnia and Herzegovina is Muhamed Djulić, who invented a steam-powered airplane in 1909. Other notable inventors from Bosnia include Matija Nenadović, who invented one of the earliest forms of the pneumatic hammer, and Dragutin Gorjanović-Kramberger, who created the first X-ray machine in the region.
