Mugdara is a small village of 1419 hectares in Merta Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mugdara depends on Merta City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 111.12% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mugdara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Mugdara's pin code is 341510[4], and village code is 01840800. The area of Mugdara is segregated as 1161.72 hectares irrigated area, 59.23 hectares unirrigated, the 129 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 69 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mugdara is a census village in the district of Nagaur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1401 and has total administration over 270 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
