Mudi is a small village of 1471 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mudi depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 200.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mudi is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mudi's pin code is 343042[4], and village code is 02291700. The area of Mudi is segregated as 418 hectares irrigated area, 806 hectares unirrigated, the 183 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64 hectare area not available for cultivation.
