Motawatai is a small village of 829 hectares in Kolayat Tehsil in Bikaner district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Motawatai depends on BIKANER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Motawatai is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Motawatai's pin code is 334001[4], and village code is 00531000. The area of Motawatai is segregated as 289.23 hectares unirrigated, the 484 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 56 hectare area not available for cultivation.
