Moran is a small village of 800 hectares in Bonli Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Moran depends on NIWAI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 17.09% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Moran is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Moran's pin code is 322023[4], and village code is 01296000. The area of Moran is segregated as 125.54 hectares irrigated area, 322.9 hectares unirrigated, the 286.5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 64.97 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Moran is a census village in the district of Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1399 and has total administration over 230 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of NIWAI and Sawai Madhopur to sell ghee and make their living.
