Moolraj is a small village of 1237 hectares in Phalodi Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Moolraj depends on Phalodi, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Moolraj is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Moolraj's pin code is 342302[4], and village code is 01926300. The area of Moolraj is segregated as 10 hectares irrigated area, 1046 hectares unirrigated, the 167 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Moolraj is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1908 and has total administration over 274 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.
