Momo Wang (Chinese:王卯卯)(born December 1985, China) is an American illustrator and animation director. She is the creator of the popular illustrated bunny character Tuzki. She is the creative director and animation director at Illumination (company)|Illumination Entertainment.
Life and career
Momo graduated at the Communication University of China. The Tuzki character became popular on Momo's blog by being featured in a variety of emoticons[1]. At the age of 23 she worked as a graphic designer at Turner Broadcasting Company in Hong Kong.
After that, she published seven picture books in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Thailand, some of the books became the best seller of the year[2]. She studied at the California Institute of the Arts from 2011 to 2014[3].
In February 2018 she joined Illumination Entertainment as creative director and animation director for the short film.
