Molawas is a small village of 269 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Molawas depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 24.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Molawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Molawas's pin code is 301714[4], and village code is 00772900. The area of Molawas is segregated as 222 hectares irrigated area, 8 hectares unirrigated, the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell earthen pot and make their living.
