Molasar is a small village of 2436 hectares in Didwana Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Molasar depends on Didwana, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 1191.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Molasar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Molasar's pin code is 341303[4], and village code is 01783100. The area of Molasar is segregated as 1191 hectares irrigated area, 401 hectares unirrigated, the 133 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 710.9 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Didwana and Nagaur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
