Mokhampura is a small village of 125 hectares in Railmagra Tehsil in Rajsamand district, known for Rajsamand Lake, an artificial lake created in the 17th century by Rana Raj Singh in the state of , India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Rajsamand to sell marble tiles and make their living.
