Mokalawas is a small village of 2440 hectares in Jodhpur Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mokalawas depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 24.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mokalawas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mokalawas's pin code is 342001[4], and village code is 01964700. The area of Mokalawas is segregated as 24 hectares irrigated area, 1801 hectares unirrigated, the 62 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 553 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mokalawas is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2274 and has total administration over 420 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
