Mohit Duseja ( Born 26 Aug 1994 ) is an Indian Actor and Model.[1]. He is known for his role of Vijay Mohitay (Virgin Mojito)[2][3] in Ragini MMS: Returns|Ragini MMS returns season 2.
Early Life
Mohit was born in Delhi, India. He was born in a Hindu Family to Bharat Duseja and Anisha Duseja. He completed his secondary education from Manavsthali School , Rajinder Nagar , New Delhi. He graduated from University of Delhi|Delhi University (B. Com hons) and initially aspired to be a chartered accountant (CA), while acting on stage as a hobby. While pursuing his CA articleship, he became disillusioned and took some time off, during which he participated in MTV Love School 3[4] and gained a massive popularity and following.
Career
Mohit after completing his 12th standard in 2014, Started his Modelling journey with Snapdeal and Homeshop 18 Tele Shopping videos. He was also part of Raag Darbari play as a prominent character with Shri Ram Centre of performing arts , which has Mukesh Chabbra , nawazuddin Siddiqui And many more as its alumni. His actual breakthrough came in 2016 , when he started doing TVC and Print shoots for brands like Urban Clap, Vega , Samsung My Galaxy and Many more. Same year, he was spotted as Aryan in Balaji Telefilm’s “Kasam tere pyaar ki” , which was aired on Colours channel. In 2017, Mohit starred in a lead role as Rohan in Saavdhan India. 2018 proved to be a year of success for Mohit, when he became part of MTV Love School 3[5], which was a major breakthrough for his career and became a claim to fame moment for him.
Although he didn’t win that season but he gained a lot of popularity, and his innocent and sweet side on screen was loved by the entire country. He became a part of a boy’s segment episode of MTV India’s next top model as a special guest. After gaining popularity from a reality show, Mohit became a part of Digital and Print Ad campaign of brands like Cool Winks, Nova Cream, Perillo Plywood, Imagica and many more.
In 2019, he was spotted as a lead in Lostboy Production’s Yeh ishq nahi hai aasan as aman, which was aired on Dangal TV. He was last seen in Alt Balaji’s famous franchise, Ragni MMS returns season 2 as Vijay Mohitay ( Virgin Mojito )[6] Amid the Covid 19 situation, Mohit is currently exploring his entrepreneurial side and has launched a brand known as “Hunar by Bharat Bass Festival” along with his childhood friend Ajay Bhateja .
