Mohanpura is a small village of 813 hectares in Todabhim Tehsil in Karauli district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohanpura depends on TODABHIM, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Mohanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mohanpura's pin code is 322216[4], and village code is 01189100. The area of Mohanpura is segregated as 623.73 hectares irrigated area, 72.15 hectares unirrigated, the 13.23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 103.81 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TODABHIM and Karauli to sell ghee and make their living.
