Mohanpura is a small village of 487 hectares in Neem-Ka-Thana Tehsil in Sikar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohanpura depends on Sikar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 85.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mohanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mohanpura's pin code is 332718[4], and village code is 01707300. The area of Mohanpura is segregated as 85 hectares irrigated area, 310 hectares unirrigated, the 6 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sikar to sell bricks and make their living.
