Mohanpura is a small village of 532 hectares in Masuda Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohanpura depends on Nasirabad, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 15.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mohanpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mohanpura's pin code is 305401[4], and village code is 02544100. The area of Mohanpura is segregated as 77 hectares irrigated area, 194 hectares unirrigated, the 11 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 250 hectare area not available for cultivation.
