Mohangarh is a small village of 192 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohangarh depends on Merta, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mohangarh is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mohangarh's pin code is 306101[4], and village code is 02397200. The area of Mohangarh is segregated as 110.51 hectares irrigated area, 25.65 hectares unirrigated, the 3.06 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 52.78 hectare area not available for cultivation.
