Mohammad Pur is a small village of 231 hectares in Chhipabarod Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mohammad Pur depends on Chhipabarod, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Mohammad Pur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mohammad Pur's pin code is 325221[4], and village code is 03964600. The area of Mohammad Pur is segregated as 43 hectares irrigated area, 68 hectares unirrigated, the 40 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 34 hectare area not available for cultivation.
