Mohammad Jasem Alwazzan is a Kuwaiti photographer, social media influencer, a race car driver and a financial broker.[1]
He runs a photography studio in Kuwait called MJAlwazzan Photography.[2] Alwazaan has worked with companies such as Porsche Club Kuwait, where he served as the event manager for five years and also assisted in changing the official Porsche logo, Häagen-Dazs, Ubon and Gaston Lenôtre.[3]
He is currently employed at the Ministry of Information in Kuwait.
Early Life and Education
He was born in Kuwait to a Kuwaiti father and an Egyptian mother.
Alwazzan started his photography career in 1996.
He was a student at the San Diego State University where he majored in Computer Science and his minor was in Digital Art.[4]
Career
Alwazzan is currently employed at the Ministry of Information in Kuwait. He has been working at Kuwait Television since 2002 to present and is responsible for graphic design, photography and video editing.[5]
In addition to that, he also works as a photographer and a race car driver.
As a photographer, Alwazzan has worked with companies including Porsche Club Kuwait where he also served as an event organizer.[6] He also runs a photography studio in Kuwait called MJAlwazzan Photography.[7][8]
Personal Life
In 2002, after completing his studies, he moved back to Kuwait.[9]
Alwazzan is married and has a daughter from a previous marriage.[10]
Awards
In 2002, Alwazzan was awarded the best photojournalist award.[11] In 2007, the Minister of Ministry of Information, Kuwait awarded him the award for Best 3D Graphic Design for Kuwait Television.[12]
As a race car driver, He was the winner of Amateur Motocross and was the runner-up for the Porsche Amateur Class Middle East Division.[13]
As a former financial broker, Alwazzan used to be the action CEO of Kuwait Finance and Investment Company.[14]
