Mohamed Cherif is a young French entrepreneur and founder of Hephaistos, an emerging French startup that develops clinical-grade artificial intelligence tools for pathologists, in order to advance cancer care.[1]

Education and early career

Cherif is a trained Artificial Intelligence expert from Paris Descartes University. In addition to that, he has two years of experience in Machine Learning and artificial intelligence. He plays an important role in the identification of the "impacts which are holding of stock market securities of CAC 40 companies by non-residents can have on the volatility" under the Directorate General of Statistics of the Banque de France. He also contributed as charge in the sector of price optimization and competitive intelligence for the Sales and Marketing Department of BNP Paribas Personal Finance.[2]

Founding Hephaistos

With his training and expertise Cherif, he developed a key tool based on artificial intelligence (AI) and digital hospitals in order to promote the screening of breast cancer and founded Hephaistos in 2019. Hephaistos became a recognized AI (Artificial Intelligence) farms of the digital world. Hephaistos is a software based company which is designed for helping pathologists and cytology technicians. It has become a popular and fast growing solution for faster, informative diagnostic, better treatment opinion of breast cancer screening in France. In addition to that Hephaistos is an open and meaningful consultation option for the young pathologist by answering the basics about cancer screening. It's a private startup relies completely on digital technology and innovation to ensure its development in the field of connected health. It's a balanced association of computer coding and healthcare security in upcoming future.[3]

Awards

From December 2019 and February 2020, Cherif worked extensively on innovation Startup contest competitions, placed under the high patronage of the President of France-Emmanuel Macron during the 'Dreaminnov'. Later in this year, Mr. Cherif and his organization, Hephaistos won the competition arranged by Dream Takeoff for emerging farms in French.

Cherif developed the Evna application in 2020 which inhales social networks to exchanges mass people for personalized support on healthcare issues, especially on cancer screening.
