Mogawa is a small village of 1338 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mogawa depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mogawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Mogawa's pin code is 344706[4], and village code is 02269300. The area of Mogawa is segregated as 120.29 hectares irrigated area, 990.27 hectares unirrigated, the 206.71 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20.79 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mogawa is a census village in the district of Barmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1067 and has total administration over 172 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Barmer to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
