modoboa is a free and open-source email server package. It brings together well known open-source components necessary to build an email server (postfix, dovecot, amavis, spamassassin) and adds a web-based interface so that mail-server operator (aka: owner) can manage daily tasks: add, modify, delete domains, accounts, etc, and also allows mail-users (aka: end-users) to check, send emails, manage agenda & contacts, create mail filters, etc.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]
It is helpful for people who want to self-host their own email server (privacy concerns, etc.)[8] and for ISPs looking for a simple interface to manage a large amount of multiple domains and mailboxes.[9]
