Miyon Ka Bara is a small village of 1045 hectares in Siwana Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Miyon Ka Bara depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Miyon Ka Bara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Miyon Ka Bara's pin code is 344021[4], and village code is 02161200. The area of Miyon Ka Bara is segregated as 61 hectares irrigated area, 588 hectares unirrigated, the 342 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 54 hectare area not available for cultivation.
