Miyen Ka Tala is a small village of 1344 hectares in Chohtan Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Miyen Ka Tala depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Miyen Ka Tala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Miyen Ka Tala's pin code is 344702[4], and village code is 02257800. The area of Miyen Ka Tala is segregated as 951.12 hectares unirrigated, the 30.68 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 155.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.
