Mirjas is a small village of 695 hectares in Nagaur Tehsil in Nagaur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mirjas depends on Mundwa, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, which is 71.00% of the total supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mirjas is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Mirjas's pin code is 341028[4], and village code is 01811100. The area of Mirjas is segregated as 71 hectares irrigated area, 478 hectares unirrigated, the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 130.21 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Mundwa and Nagaur to sell ghee and make their living.
