Mirchiya Kheri is a small village of 259 hectares in Rashmi Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mirchiya Kheri depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mirchiya Kheri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mirchiya Kheri's pin code is 312206[4], and village code is 03528200. The area of Mirchiya Kheri is segregated as 25 hectares irrigated area, 200 hectares unirrigated, the 14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 20 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chittaurgarh and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
