Author Miran Abraham (میران ئهبراهام)[1] (born March 26, 1970, in Sulaymaniyah, South Kurdistan) is a Kurdish novelist, living in the Netherlands.
The author Miran Abraham says this in an interview[2]: The process of writing for me, my personality plays a significant role, I always think and write under the influence of my feelings as a human being, so my life experiences are the raw materials of my writings. Just like how, Since I was a child, I have been fascinated by the morals of my family and every human and animal I have seen. I have been interested in interpreting and thinking about different styles and behaviours. I am fascinated by the arts of painting, theatre, and music, I constantly read in these fields, and I am an active viewer and listener, art to see or understand. I also sometimes carve a sculpture out of wood to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, or to get away from writing.
Through the art of narration, I want, or I find it necessary, to avoid ambiguity, complexity, and imagination, to portray life as it really is without making it exemplary. Or to express everything as it appears in existence, in whatever state and image, without drowning them in the sea of idealism and thought and turning them into a kind of illusion. As the goal of a realistic story is to explore and express the truth of anything and the psychological relationship between one phenomenon and others.
Writing style
Writing style of writer and novelist Miran Abraham[3][4]: Historical stories are realistic, or in other words, belong to the literary school (realism). All his novels and stories deal with an important historical period, where the place and time of events in the social conditions and traditions of the past are represented in an artistic and realistic way, which is similar to the historical reality of that time. The characters are also historical and real[5], which Miran Abraham reintroduces to the reader and tells the reader, what impact these events have had on society as a whole in history. He wants to reshape a world in an artistic form, where we remain in the nature of people then, but people as characters rather than heroes. In short, this style of writing is a source of enjoyment of the art of narrative and the core of identity and place (homeland).
