Milad Khosravi is an Iranian independent film producer and distributor. He is the founder of Seven Springs Pictures, a production and distribution company established in 2020.[1] His producing credits include Terrestrial Verses (Cannes, 2023), Requiem for a Tribe (Shanghai, 2024), Higher than Acidic Clouds (IDFA 2024), Cinema Jazireh (Karlovy Vary, 2025), and Divine Comedy (Komedie Elahi) (Venice, 2025).[2]
Career
Khosravi established Seven Springs Pictures in 2020.[1] His company produces arthouse films and documentaries, often collaborating with Iranian and international directors.
In 2023, he produced Terrestrial Verses, directed by Ali Asgari and Alireza Khatami, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.[3]
In 2024, he produced Requiem for a Tribe, which screened in competition at the Shanghai International Film Festival and later at the True/False Film Festival.[4][5] That same year, he produced Higher than Acidic Clouds, directed by Ali Asgari. The film was screened at IDFA, Visions du Réel, and Hot Docs.[6][7][8]
In 2025, Khosravi produced Cinema Jazireh, directed by Gözde Kural, which screened in competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.[9] That same year, he produced Divine Comedy (Komedie Elahi), directed by Ali Asgari, which premiered in the Orizzonti section at the Venice Film Festival.[2]
His earlier documentary work includes The Snow Calls (IDFA, 2020), The Dream of a Horse (Kraków Film Festival, 2021; later broadcast by PBS POV), and Mrs. Iran’s Husband (2023), which won the Best International Short Documentary Award at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.[10]
