Mikko Heikkilä (born September 16th 1978 in Hamina, Finland) is a Finnish musician. He is known mostly by being the vocalist and guitarrist of the Finnish Gothic Metal band group Sinamore until the group break-up in 2009[1]
Since then he has been working with several bands mostly notable with the band Kaunis Kuolematon that he joined on 2012 and which has released three full-length studio albums[2]. From 2009 to 2013 he has collaborated lending his voice to Tuomas Saukkonen's Project Black Sun Aeon[3], from 2013 to 2014 he has been also the guitarrist of the band Red Moon Architect [4], in 2018 he formed a new band Metallijate (by "accident" [5]) which has only released its debut self titled EP to this day.
In 2020 he was invited by Tuomas Saukkonen (Before the Dawn) to join his Dawn of Solace project and recorded the clean vocals for the studio album Waves[6] which has a sonority that resembles his previous works with Sinamore and also Tuomas's earlier works.
