Mijhuri is a small village of 65 hectares in Burhanpur Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mijhuri depends on Atraulia (NP) , the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mijhuri's pin code is 276142[4], and village code is 08521800. The area of Mijhuri is segregated as 56 hectares irrigated area. and remaining 8 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Atraulia (NP) and Azamgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
