Mick Clarke (b. 12 July 1950, Wimbledon) is the guitarist with The Mick Clarke Band, SALT and the British blues rock band Killing Floor (British band). Killing Floor was formed in 1968 and backed up the Texas blues guitarist Freddie King on two UK tours. The band released two albums and a further two in recent years.[1][2][3]
SALT was formed in the 1970s and performed at the Reading Festival in 1977 as well as opening for blues singer Muddy Waters at his London concert at the New Victoria Theatre.[4][5] The Mick Clarke Band was formed in the 1980s and has toured extensively in Europe and the USA. Recent tours have included Bosnia-Herzegovina and India.[6] Band members have included ex Rory Gallagher and Killing Floor musicians Lou Martin,[7] Rod de'Ath[8] and Wilgar Campbell. Mick has released 22 solo albums and continues, as of 2020, to record and release new albums.[9][10][11][12][13]
