Mick Blankenship, born in October 2, 1980, is an American singer, songwriter, music producer and multi-instrumentalist. He has released two full length albums under his name and a umber of singles as well as maintaining an active social media presence.[1] "Rule The World" (2021) has been his most successful release charting #10 on Foundations Secondary market charts in 2021 and was the number one most requested song on Boston Rock Radio (Z107). Blankenship has over 5 million streams across multiple platforms and over half a million unique followers across social media platforms.
Music career
Blankenship began his career in music as the drummer/singer of the Dayton Ohio band "War of change". Under the band, Blankenship released a 5 song EP in 2013 and performed at regional shows.[2] Blankenship left the band in 2015 and formed a Stone Temple Pilots tribute band called "STP2".[3] The successful tribute act played multiple sold out shows nationwide. in 2017, Blankenship then collaborated with John Moyer of Disturbed as the producer of Blankenship's first record titled "Crown of Apathy". The album was released in February 2018 and features guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal (Guns N Roses, Sons of Apollo, Lita Ford) on the track "Eye for an eye".[1]
After the release of "Crown of Apathy" Blankenship toured with the bands Puddle of Mudd, Tantric, Saving able, Saliva and many more. After gaining traction with the first record, Blankenship recorded his second full length album "Madness in the shadows" released in July of 2021.[1]
In 2023 Blankenship collaborated Music producer and guitarist Noah Henson (Pillar, Brantley Gilbert) and co-wrote a 5 song EP slated to be released as singles in 2024.

Personal life
Blankenship has been married since 2004 to Amy Victoria (King) Blankenship, both living in Cincinnati Ohio.
Serving as an active-duty Police Officer in Ohio and Tennessee from 2005-2017, Blankenship was involved in a violent altercation that severely impacted his physical and mental health, causing him to retire from the force and enter the music industry.
Blankenship has a YouTube channel with 10k subscribers and over 3 million views, and consistently posts over social media, gaining a dedicated following.
