Michele Savoia (Monopoli, September 6, 1989) is an italian actor and director.

After the academic diploma and after a lot of important roles in prose, musical theatre and cinema, he became popular in 2020 playing the role of Pongo, a big and largehearted weird scientist, coprotagonist of the top grossing teen movie saga in Italy “Me contro te”. This saga includes "Me contro Te - Il film: La vendetta del Signor S" (2020), "Me contro Te - Il film: Il mistero della scuola incantata" (2021), "Me contro Te - Il film: Persi nel tempo (2022)", "Me contro Te - Il film: Missione giungla" (2023), all produced by Warner Bros Entertainment Italia and Colorado Film.

In 2023 he is Carlo Chiti in Ferrari the movie directed by Michael Mann, starring the movie with Adam Driver, Penélope Cruz, Shailene Woodley, Gabriel Leone and Patrick Dempsey.

Biography

Michele Savoia trained in Eutheca - European Union Academy Of Theatre And Cinema ending up with a three years diploma and taking also London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) exams.

He also studied singing technique with Francesco Lori, Lena Biolcati e Angela Bucci, classic dance, modern dance, tip tap and acrobatics with Tonia Santoro, Elisabeth Bolognini, Lawrence Patrice e Andrea Favero.

In prose theatre, he worked with a lot of italian famous actors and director like Ornella Muti, Enzo Iacchetti, Maurizio Casagrande, Rosalia Porcaro, Tosca, Pamela Villoresi, Claudia Koll, Giovanni De Feudis, Massimiliano Vado, Anna Mazzamauro, Giancarlo Commare.

His prose credits includes Le Bal. L'Italia balla dal 1940 al 2001 dance-theatre format written by J. C. Penchenat, directed in Italy by Giancarlo Fares, Divina a Jean Robert-Charrier comedy directed by Livio Galassi starring Anna Mazzamauro (2017), Amleth (directed by Clarizio Di Ciaula) in 2018 at "Calatafimi Segesta Festival Dionisiache" in the greek theatre in Segesta, the international tour of The court over the witch (directed by Enrico Maria Lamanna and starring Ornella Muti) and Feroci (2021) by Tobia Rossi in Franco Parenti Theatre in Milan directed by Gabriele Colferai.

He also had a long career as first aid director of Enrico Maria Lamanna in several Italian national production including Italian stars like Tosca D'Aquino, Gea Martire (Il mio cuore nelle tue mani, 2012), Giorgia Würth and Ludovico Fremont (Il vaticano cade, 2011) Francesco Venditti, Paola Minaccioni, Rosalinda Celentano, Lisa Gastoni, Selvaggia Quattrini, Antonella Attili, Lunetta Savino and Maurizio Donadoni.

In 2022 and 2023 he played the role of Pongo in the national tour of Me contro Te in the most important indoor sports arenas in Italy.

He worked in many web series and song videoclips, and as cinema actor he played in Dietro un grande uomo D.U.G.U.) with Luca Argentero, Giorgia Würth, Massimiliano Vado and Michela Andreozzi (who was also the director of the movie). He was part of the cast of the movies Il professor Cenerentolo by Leonardo Pieraccioni, Nove lune e mezza by Michela Andreozzi with Lillo, Giorgio Pasotti, Stefano Fresi and Claudia Gerini.

In 2019 he was the agent Vito Liuzzi in the movie comedy Brave ragazze directed by Michela Andreozzi with Luca Argentero, Ambra Angiolini e Serena Rossi.

In 2022 he is in the Canale 5 tv series Più forti del destino, directed by Alexis Sweet, and in the second season of the series Unlockdown, produced by DeA Kids.

In 2023 he is in the main cast of the American movie Ferrari directed by Michael Mann, playing Carlo Chiti with Adam Driver, Penélope Cruz, Patrick Dempsey, Sheilene Woodley, Jack o'connel. He was also in the main cast of the Rai 1 Italian tv series Il clandestino with Edoardo Leo directed by Rolando Ravello and he was part of the cast of Imma Tataranni - Sostituto procuratore, directed by Francesco Amato.

Concerning the Musical Theatre he was Shrek in the Italian official production of Shrek The Musical (2022); He was Don in Kinky Boots, written by Cyndi Lauper, in Teatro Nuovo in Milano and Italian tour; JoJo Balena in A Bronx Tale directed by Claudio Insegno in Teatro Nuovo in Milano.

In 2021 and 2022 he was the Genie of Aladin the Italian official musical written and directed by and he was a dragqueen in the Italian production of Everybody's talking about Jamie directed by Piero Di Blasio.
