Michaela Jill Murphy (born August 18, 1994), also known as her stage name Jessie Flower, is an Americans actress. She is best known for her voiceover work as Toph in the Nickelodeon animated television series Avatar: The Last Airbender and Chaca in Disney's Kronk's New Groove and The Emperor's New School.
Biography
Michaela Jill Murphy was born in Clarksville, Indiana. She and her mother moved to Los Angeles, California in 1998. Michaela began pursuing acting in 1999, starting with commercial work, going by her alias Jessie Flower. She began her voiceover career with Disney's Finding Nemo, as a member of the additional voices. Michaela went on to voice other characters in animated works including Young Franny in Meet the Robinsons, Baby Hedgehog in Over the Hedge, Peggy in Random! Cartoons episode Tiffany, and additional voices in The Ant Bully, and Brother Bear 2. Around 2006, she voiced Meng in the season one episode "Avatar: The Last Airbender (season 1)#Episodes" and returned to voice Toph in the rest of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Michaela attended high school at Buckley School (California) in Sherman Oaks, California, then studied at Yale University. She most recently began voicing the English dub of Nasse in the anime Platinum End. She has started attending more anime conventions as a voice over guest, like SacAnime, AnimeLubbock, and Harlingen Fan Convention.
