Michael Konopasek is an award-winning former American journalist[1] and communications leader.[2] He works as a corporate communications manager [3] for Frontier Airlines.

Konopasek was a reporter and anchor at the FOX and CW affiliated TV stations in Denver, Colorado.[4]

Colorado state leaders looked into best practices for AMBER alerts after Konopasek reported on a delayed alert in 2017. [3] He previously worked as a reporter at KING-TV (NBC) in Seattle, Washington and KWTV-TV (CBS) in Oklahoma City.

Konopasek was a multi winning celebrated journalist. He was part of Edward R. Murrow Award-winning coverage of the 2014 Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting in Washington state.[5] He also won several Emmy awards. [3]
