Mewasa is a small village of 110 hectares in Nimbahera Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mewasa depends on Chittaurgarh, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 10.41% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mewasa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Mewasa's pin code is 312620[4], and village code is 03538700. The area of Mewasa is segregated as 19.41 hectares irrigated area, 20.74 hectares unirrigated, the 61.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 8.73 hectare area not available for cultivation.
