Meo is a small village of 1993 hectares in Sojat Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Meo depends on Sojat, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 40.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Meo is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Meo's pin code is 306104[4], and village code is 02413100. The area of Meo is segregated as 115 hectares irrigated area, 1236 hectares unirrigated, the 226 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 416 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Meo has One post office (Meo B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Meo has Two banks, One credit society and One agricultural credit society for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Meo is a census village in the district of Pali, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1089 and has total administration over 248 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sojat and Pali to sell ghee and make their living.
