Mehramnagar is a small village of 916 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mehramnagar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mehramnagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mehramnagar's pin code is 342014[4], and village code is 01996500. The area of Mehramnagar is segregated as 687 hectares unirrigated, the 217 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
