Megwalon Ka Tala is a small village of 1262 hectares in Barmer Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Megwalon Ka Tala depends on BARMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Megwalon Ka Tala is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Megwalon Ka Tala's pin code is 344708[4], and village code is 02225500.
