Meghsar is a small village of 2001 hectares in Taranagar Tehsil in Churu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Meghsar depends on TARANAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Meghsar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Meghsar's pin code is 331302[4], and village code is 00571500. The area of Meghsar is segregated as 1893.05 hectares unirrigated, the 33.25 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 75.14 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Meghsar is a census village in the district of Churu, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1060 and has total administration over 205 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of TARANAGAR and Churu to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
