Meethri is a small village of 1899 hectares in Ahore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Meethri depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Meethri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Meethri's pin code is 307029[4], and village code is 02284700. The area of Meethri is segregated as 228.15 hectares irrigated area, 1300.7 hectares unirrigated, the 303.05 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The workforce is 683 male, 566 female with 497 (39.79%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 397 males and 100 females. 146 males and 16 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 140 male and 55 female agricultural labor. 752 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
