Meethri is a small village of 1899 hectares in Ahore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Meethri depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Meethri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Meethri's pin code is 307029[4], and village code is 02284700. The area of Meethri is segregated as 228.15 hectares irrigated area, 1300.7 hectares unirrigated, the 303.05 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 67.1 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Meethri is a census village in the district of Jalor, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2244 and has total administration over 439 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jalor to sell earthen pot and make their living.
