Meerapura is a small village of 535 hectares in Chaksu Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Meerapura depends on Bagru, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Meerapura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Meerapura's pin code is 303901[4], and village code is 01523600. The area of Meerapura is segregated as 22.25 hectares irrigated area, 335.08 hectares unirrigated, the 128.69 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 49.39 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Meerapura is a census village in the district of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 1166 and has total administration over 200 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bagru and Jaipur to sell ghee and make their living.
