Meera Bai Institute of Technology is located in New Friends Colony, Maharani Bagh, New Delhi. Meera Bai Institute of Technology(MBIT) started its journey as Women’s Polytechnic at Dayal Singh Library, ITO on 10th September 1962 with the goal to train technical manpower to meet the needs of the state and to make young women self-dependent by achieving professional qualifications. It was renamed as Meera Bai Polytechnic in 1994 and relabelled as Meerabai Institute of Technology in 2010. Institute provides 10 diversified Engineering and Non-Engineering diploma courses, which are of 2 to 3 years duration. With the addition to 10 diversified Diploma Courses, the institute houses a Degree Course, BBA since 2009, B.Voc in Interior Design & Bachelor in Vocation in Applied Art since 2015 which are affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University(GGSIPU). Meera Bai Institute has very amazing staff and supportive, experienced and skilful teachers. Institute offers many perks and benefits to girls so as to ease women in building their career. To take admission in college students need to appear in the common entrance test(CET).
