Mediwasan is a small village of 451 hectares in Pachpadra Tehsil in Barmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mediwasan depends on BALOTRA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mediwasan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Mediwasan's pin code is 344032[4], and village code is 02145000. The area of Mediwasan is segregated as 442.77 hectares unirrigated, remaining 8 hectare area not available for cultivation.
