Medha is a small village of 864 hectares in Sanchore Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Medha depends on SANCHORE, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Medha is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Medha's pin code is 343027[4], and village code is 02317800. The area of Medha is segregated as 16 hectares irrigated area, 397 hectares unirrigated, the 426 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 25 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of SANCHORE and Jalor to sell ghee and make their living.
