Meda Uparla is a small village of 4354 hectares in Jalor Tehsil in Jalor district, also known as Granite City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Meda Uparla depends on JALOR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 80.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Meda Uparla is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Meda Uparla's pin code is 343001[4], and village code is 02294500.
