Mbartak Kelley (Born 1967 in the Czech Republic during the Prague Spring ) is an American writer. Kelley worked researching insulin at Insulet Corporation[1], and has spoken about Diabetes and chronic illness. His debut collection of essays, Hubris Manifest, was self published in 2013.
Early Life
Mbartak Kelley was born in the Czech Republic. Kelley migrated to the US at age 12. Subsequently, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Mbartak Kelley attended the Cooper UnionCooper Union for art from 1986-1989.
Work
Hubris Manifest is Mbartak Kelley's self published book. It is an autobiographical account of his life as a diabetic living in the United States of America.
