Maysa Daw is a palestinian musician and singer-songwriter. Current member of DAM, a middle eastern hip hop group and Kallemi, she is now working on her solo project. She released her first album Between City walls in 2017.
Maysa Daw admits she went through a rough patch after October 7th.
“After two years of genocide, it seems a bit ridiculous to write a song for people who died of hunger and suffering… I don’t live in this fantasy that art can change the world.”[1]
