May Htet Lu (Burmese: မေထက်လူ; born 28 January 2003) is a Burmese professional footballer who plays as a forward. She represents the Myanmar women's national football team and previously played collegiate soccer in the United States for Los Angeles Pierce College.[4]
Youth career
In 2022, May Htet Lu moved to the United States to pursue her education and athletic career at Los Angeles Pierce College. She played for the LA Pierce Brahmas women's soccer team, where she was recognized for her offensive contributions in the collegiate circuit.[5]
Club career
In August 2025, May Htet Lu joined ISPE W.F.C. to participate in the AFC Women's Champions League qualifying stage. She played a pivotal role in the squad, helping ISPE FC advance through the preliminary rounds.[6]
International
May Htet Lu made her senior international debut in February 2025 during the Vianet International Women's Championship in Nepal. Myanmar secured the championship title, with May Htet Lu contributing to the team's successful campaign.[7]
She also represented Myanmar at the 2025 SEA Games in Thailand, where she scored two goals during the group stage match against Malaysia.[8]
