Mawri is a small village of 106 hectares in Behror Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mawri depends on BEHROR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 80.91% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mawri is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mawri's pin code is 301701[4], and village code is 00766500. The area of Mawri is segregated as 80.91 hectares irrigated area, 13 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 10 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Mawri is a census village in the district of Alwar, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 770 and has total administration over 152 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of BEHROR and Alwar to sell wood furniture and make their living.
