Mawasa is a small village of 300 hectares in Manohar Thana Tehsil in Jhalawar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mawasa depends on Aklera, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 22.13% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mawasa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mawasa's pin code is 326037[4], and village code is 04041300. The area of Mawasa is segregated as 86.89 hectares irrigated area, 85.98 hectares unirrigated, the 67.92 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 59.07 hectare area not available for cultivation.
